Darcstorm Productions is a Queensland based production company, founded in 2001 by Andrew R. Close and Judd Tilyard. Specialising in short films and music videos, Darcstorm Productions has produced award winning shorts and developed numerous feature film and television projects.

Andrew, a natural writer and avid film buff, graduated form the Queensland School of Film and Television in 2000. A writer for the last 10 years, Andrew has written numerous feature length scripts including the punk rock odyssey Rejection of Convention, interactive drama project SPECTRUM and more recently action/drama Crisis of Faith set during the second Gulf War. His first television series The Pirates of Paradise, is currently in development with Light Knight Productions. He has also written for Web sites, Graphic Novels, and various multimedia projects and has directed many shorts and music videos for Australian and international acts. He’s currently in pre-production on his directorial feature debut “Comic Relief” which is shooting early 2008.
